My 4 year old Yorkie recently started licking the air! I am not sure what it could be. I took him to the Vet and they said Allergies and gave him at Cortisone shot, and it has not helped! I have given him 1/2 pills of Baby Benydryl and that doesn't help either! I have a video of it... Just unsure of what to do? I haven't changed anything, no new cleaning stuff, not new bath stuff.. i use Allergroom because i was told that would help his skin if its an allergy.. but hes still licking.
Any Suggestions!? I don't to give him another shot if its not working! PLEASE HELP, i feel so bad for him, he has to be annoyed! |

I'm having the same problem only my Yorkie is licking people. She wants to lick down your arms and hands. She also has dry skin. I asked her vet if she maybe had allergies and she did the same. Gave her a shot and told me that she was having a reaction to fleas. She gets Advantix II and has no fleas. Sometimes I think the vets begin not to care and just go through the motions and collect our cash.
