Smile My few cents of food wisdom if you can call it that

I fed Royal Canin Yorkie formula and will change at 10 months to the adult formula. For training I break bil-jacks livers treats into 8 tiny piece and also buy a natural biscuit type treat comes like small triangular dog bites in berry, carrot and apple the apple smells yummy she loves them.

I really don't want to feed any regular soft food because they tend to get bad teeth and a deadly nuclear breath when they have bad teeth. I thank god I got her to love her tooth brush and lets me brush her every day and the vet tells me if I continue as I am she may not need to have that scary cleaning session. *Frowns* with a little dog I am really scared of anesthesia for them so I do all I can to prevent the need.

Some of you have great great items suggested but the chicken apple thing sounds wonderful for a change whether a treat or a meal.

Have a lovely day everyone!

My little Cooper is on the Yorkshire Terrier Puppy 29 by Royal Canine. Its the only food he actually likes and the size of the food is perfect for his small little mouth. They do have a Yorkshire Terrier 28 which is for adult yorkies. To train him I give him Zukes all natural training treats. They smell really bad but if you get the peanut butter kind you won't gag everytime you open the bag (Cooper goes nuts for them). Also, my vet told me for snacks to give him vegetables. Of course in moderation and not all the time. My vet also mentioned a piece of an apple cut up with the skin off. And what dog does love some PEANUT BUTTER from time to time. These are some of the things I feed my 4 month old puppy and he is in spectacular health and growing like a weed!!
