I have been thinking about getting some cable chew proof covers for a while now and I am rushing out now to get some. A good friend of mine in the south has a boston terrier named Elliot who bit down on an electrical cord and is now in the vet having surgery for a broken jaw and other injuries. He has insurance but they are not covering the entire 3000$ he has billed so far.
If your pup likes to chew get some cable covers. I am worried for my own little guys now. |

CritterCord - Protect your pets is a good site to see what people are offering right now for this issue. Personally I just use automotive wire loom around any cables that I see my buddy going for. He only does it once in a blue moon but won't touch the wires I have loomed up.

Basically, the task of any wire loom is to properly channel your wires to their central location and keep them together neatly. Simple in principle and when done wire looms save a whole lot of time and heartache and as a result you can properly utilize any wire related setup you have whether it be a home theater, office, or rec room.
